What are you reading?
Reading and information are what we're about, so we're curious to know what you're reading this summer. Send a comment with your reading list and any reviews or remarks for our SWU community.
I'm reading Sacred Spring: God and the Birth of Modernism in Fin-de-Siecle Vienna. I studied some of the modernist artists and composers during my semester abroad in college, so I'm interested in revisiting my "old friends" with this new perspective on the search for God in the modernist movement.
I am reading Beatrix Potter, a Life in Nature. After watching the movie Miss Potter, I wanted to learn more about Beatrix's tragic, but fascinating life. I never knew how connected she was to the landscape around her, or how much effort she put into conserving it. Her influence reached far beyond the realm of children's literature.
